Hi John and Char,
I'm sorry I missed you at HCMC yesterday. (I called at 11:40 and it sounded like you were long gone.) I was one of the many who took care of John when he was in our Unit. I was just thinking of you recently--what a wonderful family you have and how strong your faith is. I remember patients, but only a few names. John is someone I'll never forget. I'm so happy to hear he's doing so well. Thanks for coming back to see us!

I am sorry to hear about the accident. You can email me at any time. I'll keep you both in my prayers. Do you know Perry Schumacher he too has a caringbridge site.
Prayers and love to you

Hi John,
Guess you could call this my yearly check in to see how you are doing. Hope you and the family are all doing good and that you still continue to improve. I know you traveled down a tough road and hope the future is a little easier.
God Bless,

Hello Frank family~
Was nice seening John and Char at Capt. Dan this year and being able to talk to you some. Hope John's recovery is going good. Jeff had a bad weekend and ended up in the ER on Sat. night as he fell and blacked out. Not quite forsure what happened, but thinking that it could be a slight stroke. Also some very scary diseases being tossed around like meningitis, and ALS to name a couple. The nurologist up at the VA is wanting some tests done however it will take over a month to get them done in the cities, so we had a second opinion done today as Jeff is still having some dizzyness, and problems with balance. So needless to say the doctor in Redwood has ordered a brain MRI and EEG to be done in Willmar on Monday next week. Hope to get some anwsers as I am not sleeping so good at night right now, I know that the LORD is with us and he will guide us, just doesn't sit very well with a little one on the way and all, and all the what ifs that come with it!! any way enough babbling hope all is well with your family, take care and GOD bless!!

Jeff and Ruth Olson &lil CJ too!! <jrolson@redred.com>

Hello Frank family! Been meaning to send you a message for a few weeks now, and I'm finally getting to it... I had the opportunity to spend time with those crazy Frank girls at a scrapbooking weekend and had a blast! But I just had to tell you John, it was so good seeing you too! You look amazing! Keep up the good work... a weird coincidence; I was just doing some research on Hyperbaric therapy yesterday! I may be giving you a call Char, with some questions...

Anyway, hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and hopefully we'll see you more in 2007!

Dear John and Char,
How wonderful to check in after a long absence, to find that you are doing so well. God has richly blessed you with each other and a beautiful family. The fact that you so obviously treasure those gifts, is inspiring and heart warming.
So many things have changed in our business, Char, and I miss not seeing you more often. But you are often in my thoughts and will continue to be in my prayers. I feel blessed to call you "friend". Love, Bonnie

Happy Father's Day John! Though I didn't need to flip through your family "SmugMug" photos to know that you had such a happy and wonderful family, it was still so fun to see what a special group you have. You are so blessed! I was disappointed I missed seeing you at AJ and Cody's graduation party, but it sounds like you are doing great. Take care this summer and I hope to see you all sometime soon! God bless!
Love,

Good Evening John & Char & Kayla and Nikki & Brett and family

My where does the time go! My thought and prayers are with you daily.

It was nice to see Brett and Mike Frank at our house the other day as they were here to talk to Roger. I hardly opened the door to say hi as I was getting over that stomach bug that has been going around.
I stayed laying down for a few days. I picked it up from Nicholas as he was sick the week before. Feeling fine now!!

Your house looks so nice from the highway! Towards spring I plan on coming out for a tour.

John how are you doing with your workout on the machine you have now? Hopefully your pain in your knees is much better. I'm sure you had a good time watching the changes as your house was being remodeled.

It must of been fun for you to visit and watch the crew on a daily basis.

Have to sign off for now. Take care! Always remember that God is there protecting and healing you daily.
Aunt Mary

Hello frank family,
Just happened to be on another page and thought I would check out and see how life is going. Mom keeps me updated when ever we get home and, if i don't ask she makes sure to tell me. Christmas was wonderful being home, glad that St. James is only an hour away, but don't get home as much as we would like. Mom and Dad are going to be gradparents this year for the 16th time as Jeff and I are expecting in July. It should be interesting to see how big I am when we come home for Capt. Dan Days, Laurie has asked me to run the volleyball tournament and I plan on as much as I can... As long as we don't have a wedding on sat. One of Jeff's groomsmen is getting married are planning the day around my due date, but no date as of yet and we are both in the wedding. Will check back again soon, and hope all goes well with u and your family. If we get home and have a chance we will try and stop in.

Good Evening: John & Char and Kayla Nikki & Brett and Family

I have been looking at all the pictures you have added to John's site. To see the pictures of your home with the addition progress going on gives me a clearer idea of what the house will look like after it is finished.
Your other kitchen looked large but after seeing the picture of the new kitchen your other one seemed smaller to me. I can't wait to see the house in person!

WOW! John you look like a pro on your new machine. It looks like that could be fun! Oh yes it requires using your legs but another step closer to walking.

Char, happy to see you in town more. It is good for you to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

Life does change for us but I have learned that change isn't all that bad. We grow with every new day!

Father John told us at church not to long ago that by giving everything to God we will never stand alone in what ever is set before us.

We continue to pray daily for you and your family. I know God hears our prayers so HE will finish his good works for you!

It has been so nice to see the sun shining as it makes a person feel better.

God Our Father we ask you to continue healing John and others who need your peace and healing. Thank you Father!

Hi John, Char and family
The house addition is really coming along fast! Can't wait to see the pics when it's completed.
I came across this and wanted to share it with you.

With time we see through wiser eyes,
the greatest gifts God sends
Aren't power, fame or fortune,
but our families and our friends.
We find that dreams aren't just for kids,
that prayer can save the day,
That life's a whole lot sweeter
when we laugh along the way...
We learn that simple caring
means the world when times are tough,
That hugs can sometimes say it all
when words aren't enough,
We learn to keep a childlike faith
forever in our hearts,
For that's where hope and love are born,
where every good thing starts.

Wishing you joy and good health in the coming year. Happy New Year 2006!
