Hi everyone. I am glad to hear you all had such a blast Thanksgiving. I am glad to hear things are going pretty good. These guys deserve long breaks if not forever from all their problems. Of course so do we the parents. I bet your boys are getting so big arent they !? Sam sure is growing up fast, as are my other daughters. I feel old these days. Sounds as if Jared had a very good time watching his brother sing...lol...and yes he is entitled to have them moments all kids are but especially Jared.

Sammy, my girl is doing ok, she is sick off and on but Dr's can't determine yet if its her shunt or "other" things. The poor girl suffers alot with horrible horrible headaches.

Hi you guys !!! I am so glad to hear you all had a good Christmas ! It was a little different with no snow though ! Watch us get alot of snow soon, thats how it usually happens. ( go figure ) We had a good Christmas here ourselves. We started a new tradition this year before we open gifts we read the story of the birth of Jesus. It was really neat, we have this big Bible I keep in one of my curio cabinets and we got that out and my oldest daughter read it. We have so much to be thankful for and we have been very Blessed by God !

you know if the docs are unsure if it even NB that may be their reluctance to immediately treat. Since he is not having symptoms I will take that as a good sign but if anything occurs or he starts to complain of anything (pain) that does not resolve I would definitely call that oncologist back ASAP. I know April seems like a long time but hold on it will be here before you know it. Keeping Jared in my prayers. If I can do anything let me know. It is exciting to be able to go back to work full time. What awesome boys you do have. Would love to see updated pics. Bet if you contacted Colleen she would update for you even. Oh Staci,
I hope it is a virus or something else.....Since jared showed a spot on his MIBG last time which they thought was not NB could they rescan with a CT, PET or MRI just to be on the safe side???? I am praying this is anything but NB and resolves soon. Here is a big hug for you all..

Not sure what you mean by 2 extra scans? Do you mean MIBG pictures or other types of scans? Hope all goes well. I was going to say we have already had to stay an extra day for scans because the radioactive material was still in Jared's belly and they wanted to allow time for it to pass through his system more and then rescan. I will follow up to be sure all went well. Thinking of your family. What amazing children we do have (both of them). Give both your boys a big hug for me.

Haven't stopped by in a while and wanted to see how Jared was doing. I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation, even though Jared wasn't feeling so good. Hopefully he is better now. I didn't realize he was still on the accutane! I had no idea it could be given for that long. Not seeing an end to treatment must be frustrating and scary. Of course, relapsing again would be worse, so I suppose it is all relative.

Hi Stacy,I met you at UofM while Jared was having his MIBG scans. I am Ryan's mom. I am so happy to here he is NED. God is watching over our boys because Ryan is NED also. He did have an uptake on the MIBG scan in the left adrenal gland but it turned out to be a false positive. We did get rid of the fungus and started transplant on 7/27/05. We do have a webpage for him now it is under caringbridge and his web site is ryanregan.

Hello just checking in on you guys. No news must be good news. We go for our scans at CHOP on 3/15/05. Can't wait to get them done and breath a sigh of relief. I am thinking positive.
