Hello! Don't know if you remember us from Children's Hospital. We met during one of our stays there in the summer of 2006. My daughter, Victoria, also has Cystic Fibrosis. I've been trying to get in touch with you to see how Linda was doing. I heard you on the radio with Kidd Kraddick. HOW FUN!!!???!! and I read something (after the fact) in the newspaper for the Rockwall fundraiser. We were at the Truluck's walk this May. I'm sadden that we didn't run into each other. Please contact me when you get a chance.

I see Linda is doing much better. THANK GOD!! Victoria is doing AWESOME! She has been taken off two antibiotics for the summer and her lungs are clear of 'CRACKLES'. She plays soccer outdoor/indoor and Tball. Graduated from Kindergarten.

Let's keep in touch....it's hard with our busy life's, but we can if we want to.

hey guys I am trying to catch up on some emails, Travis is in the hospital now (got in on 06/0/07). Seems to just be out asthma no pnuemonia or major CF problems...PRAISE THE LORD!! Patty our prayers and thoughts are always with you and your wonderful family. As a mother of a child with CF, I admire all of the strides and difficult steps to continue to keep our children at their healthiest. We do have a challenge, but GOD is very choosey with who he blesses with these most wonderous miracles called our special children. You know Travis is 17 now and the break throughs they have made over these years are just amazing. GOD is most definately AWESOME. I don't know what I would do without HIM in our lives. To just fill you in a bit on what's been going on with us...My mom fell on April 13,2007 and broke her neck(c-2 vertabrae)the same one that Christopher Reeves broke! We are so lucky that she is NOT paralysed. I finally got to get her home Monday (06/12) and my oldest son is in from college and taking care of her while I'm at Childrens with Travis. Good grief it seems like it happens all at once. I lost my job over all of my absences with my mom, Trav and my own health issues, but I was looking for employment when I found that one and I'm also going to try SS again for Travis and maybe on myself due to being diagnosed with COPD, with most all the symptoms of CF w/out testing positive on the tests. Oh I am great, I've got GOD on my side. Anyway we are on the 7th floor this time and we just love it! We miss all of our friends on 6, but we are staying healthier this time for some reason...I'll say because we aren't exposed to the pnuemonias, etc. Of course we have been on three antibiotics, steriods (po)TID and breathing treatments Q3. Well girl, I am rambling and I'm sorry. I just want you to know that we are all in this together and it there is ANYTHING at all we can do for you please let us know. Love to you and all three girls!

He everyone. Hope all is well. Got a call from school on Monday 5-21 that he had fever. So I took him to the area doctor and yes he has a touch of phenmonia. He is in his last week of school with semester exams and we were suppose to leave for vacation for a week camping up at Beaver's Bend. Dallas didn't want him coming up with exam week going on so they put him an antibiotic. As far as vacation, well don't know....Patty, you know how that goes. It has been a long time since I was apart of the SS class and wish that I could be there to hug you. Please know that you all are in my prayers. If we have learned anything while in SS class, we have learned that God is faithful in all things. We saw you at clinic this morning and I'm sorry you are back in the hospital. Precious Family. I was honored to have the priveledge of meeting Linda through my dear frineds Kelly and Jack Colbert. Jack is down the hall from Linda at the hospital also with CF. Dear Patty,
I know this life as a mother of a child with C. F. is not an easy one, but remember that GOD only gives these special children to those who are strong enough to handle it. We are just as special as our children, for without us they wouldn't be. Just as without GOD we wouldn't be. We are here to do our best to care for these wonderful, special, children and to make their lives as meaningful as we can. They are our gift from GOD. I know that our other children our also, but our babies with C. F. are a bit more precious. Just remember that the LORD doesn't give us more than we can really handle and that those of us that are blessed with these precious children are chosen very carefully to make their lives as wonderful and fulfilling as possible. GOD knows what HE's doing, even though we may not understand.
Please know that you and your whole family are in Travis and my prayers. We pray for your strength as well as Linda's and for the doctors to have the wisdom to make the right decisions in her care. But Patty, don't be afraid to stand up to the doctors if you don't agree with something...they work for you and Linda...you are in control of them...always question that that you don't understand from them. Hey Patty,

As we talked about in sunday school class we all have our trials and your is Linda, Rita her daughters, brenda her job &/or weight as well as me, job &/or weight you know what i am trying to say with much love. We have to keep praying and have faith. I sometimes want to know what my future is as well as not, if it's bad trying to change it or make it better as well as learn from it. but it really really gets frustrating , we all get mad at god but he knows what's up as we are just peasants.................NOT, anyway, it's hard, even now that we know who god is and are learning about him, satan is always going to despise us for loving god and giving him the respect that satan will never have. Well I have to go, and it was good seeing you in the preschool class. :)Linda looks very good and happy to home with mommy and family. LINDA your MOMMY LOVES you VERY MUCH and SO DOES GOD:):.
