Hello Corse Family,
My name is Michael Brady and my three year old son, Michael was diagnosed stage four high risk NB on October fifteenth. He has had two rounds of chemo and surgery to remove the primary mass on his adrenal gland. He has four more rounds of chemo, ST transplant, radiation and immunotherapy to go. I wanted to drop a note to say what an inspiration your son Matt has become to us. He is not only surviving ,which is enough after fighting this monster, but also thriving while doing it. Thanks for posting, it really helps families on the other side of this journey have hope. God Bless, Michael Brady
you can check out Michael's battle at http:www.caringbridge/visit/michaelbrady

Thank you so much for providing me with inspiration! My son, Gabe Perkins from Moline, was just diagnosed with stage IV rhabdomyosarcoma. We are beginning treatment (he's just had his first dose of chemo) and maintain hope that someday we can be writing about his 9th birthday party! (he will be 7 in September). I would love to touch base with you sometime to get any advice you have for us for the next crucial year of treatment.

Thanks,
Leslie Perkins

Dear Matt and Family,
I heard about your website from Melissa, one of Matt's nurses from Hope. I'm a friend of Melissa's and also a NB mom- my little Drew was diagnosed last November 6 with stage IV. He is also currently NED, and we are finishing up the remnants of his triple-tandem transplant. He'll start radiation and Accutane in the fall. We are praying for "forever NED" for you, Matt! You are a genuine inspiration to us! We can't wait to be just like you six years from now...

Hey, Bubba!

I love the picture of you on your home page! You have the best smile ... it lights up a room. Your mom wrote me that you miss Savannah. I just want YOU to know that your great smile brought many smiles to her face while you two were in-patient together. I'm glad you two had each other.

I also hope you have a few more baseball games left, because Jazzy & I would like to drive down to one. She'd love to see you! She has pictures up of you & Kassidi in her bedroom.

Love, The Olsons (www.caringbridge.org/il/savannah)

hi matt,(bubba)
i didn't know that you had a caringbridge site. it's a great picture and you look so cute and grown up. i'm happy to hear that you're back on the baseball field. maybe the cubs can use you in the future since they don't seem to win many games. stay healthy.

Thanks for visiting so often...I do check but hardly post as I am doing fifty things at once....I would love to have you come out and swim as soon as Elliotts counts come up...Check with me in a week or two and hopefully he should be ok again. We no longer go to hope to see Dr Salvi, we go to Central Dupage in Wheaton to see him there...a lot closer for us. Hope you have a good week. See you soon

I am glad to hear the Relay was so successful. Sorry to hear the weather didn't cooperate. Sounds like Baseball season is going well and I am sure the kids will keep you busy with something this summer once the season ends. Take care and enjoy the hot weather.

Sorry I have not signed in forever, life is diffucult at times, as you all know. Thanks for always coming by to see Elliott's page. I do visit you, just have not slowed down long enough to sign. Elliott, as you know, is in Hope right now. He would very much like to get together however it will have to wait a bit till he recovers from the latest setback. Do you have a pool? We have a nice one, when it is warm, perhaps a pool party? Love to all....The Aldrich family
