St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Chili’s Grill & Bar® announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. Now through September 30, Chili’s restaurants around the country and, for the first time, in Puerto Rico, are marking National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by inviting people to get creative and raise funds to help St. Jude find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
Guests at participating Chili’s restaurants can contribute to St. Jude in multiple ways:
- Make a donation to St. Jude and receive a Create-A-Pepper chili pepper coloring sheet designed for display at restaurants during the month.
- Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.

Jaci & Camble...just wanted to let you know that I stopped by to check on Camble, I'm sure your counting the days for treatments to be behind Miss Camble. I remember the 1st time we met you guys in clinic, I think Camble was battling that rash you wrote about and was put in the hospital shortly after that. You wrote a very nice paper for school, your so right about normal and perfect being seen differently by everyone, I think of those 2 words often in life, we deal with what is handed to us, we learn from all of it, and we come out stronger people. I'm so happy that Camble is healthy, she has gotten so big, and a real sweetheart. Counting the days with you, think of you both often and your both in my prayers.

Well we are finally getting all settled into the new house in CHICAGO. Its New Lenox to be exact.

Jaci & Camble, just wanted to wish you both a very Merry Christmas and New Year full of good health for Camble. Sorry Camble has been in the hospital and still fighting a cold. We check in on you both often, just don't always sign your book, shame on us...Cade is finally doing his enzyme treatments at HOME!!!!! It is so nice to sit in the comfort of our own home and not have to worry about the drive and being in clinic for the whole day!! Of course it has taken him some time getting use to the new set up, the nurse is really good with him and I'm sure things will continue to get better each week.. We think of you guys often and check in all the time, you remain in our thoughts and prayers...Camble has gotten so big, and she is so cute!!! Merry Christmas and I hope Santa brings you everything you want Camble.

This is for all the women out there that have children...
Before I was a Mom
Before I was a Mom I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom - I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
And before I was a Grandma, I didn't know that all those "Mom" feelings more than doubled when you see that little bundle being held by "your baby"...
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom or Grandma. I just did.
And remember that behind every successful mother... Is a basket of dirty laundry

I have been checking up on her for quite some time now, and I was very sad when I saw that she had gone to be with Jesus, but it is good to know that she isn't hurting any more.
