Tyler DeHeer

Welcome to Tyler's Web Page. It was orginally designed to keep people informed about Tyler's journey. It became a source of inspiration to Tyler and our family. Since January 28, when Tyler went home to Heaven, it has become a source of strength and comfort, as those who care about Tyler and our family offer support and words of caring and inspiration.

It is hard for me to believe that 6 years ago I spent my last Christmas with Tyler. A lot of things have changed in those 6 years, but the emptiness and hurt still lingers. Some days, it is just a dull reminder and others,it is a piercing pain. Today, was the piercing kind of pain day! For some reason, around midnight, I felt the need to take a drive and go hang out with Tyler, in the peace and quiet of the country. Tyler chose the cemetery in the country because it was close to home, and he loved the peaceful country setting. When I got there, it was so quiet, a dog barking in the distance and some wildlife moving about in the timber, but other than that, it was just me and Tyler. As I was sitting on the bench, I could feel him sit down beside me and here his voice once again. I could see the sparkle in his eyes, the sly smile, and here his goofy laugh. All of a sudden the piercing pain, was now a heart warming experience. Thank you Tyler for giving me an awesome Christmas present. I am so glad to be able to call you my son! Love you! Dad
