Welcome to Nolan's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about Nolan.
Nolan was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma in his left distal femur on June 11,2004. Nolan is under the best care available through the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Nolan has amazed us with his courage and determination to fight this. He has been through many tests, scans, x-rays, IV’s, and countless hours of high dose Chemotherapy, and surgery.
Nolan had limb salvage surgery on September 22, 2004. The surgeons removed a great portion of his left femur, including his distal femur that made up part of the knee. His knee was replaced with a metal prothesis. Nolan has finished chemotherapy protocol as of June 3, 2005. As of June 21st, 2005 there is No Evidence of Disease.
Please keep praying and believe in your heart that with God’s intervention Nolan will fully recover. God has a special purpose for Nolan and it all starts with him and his everlasting smile. Thanks for your support and prayers.

Nolan had a great summer, spent most of the time on vacation, living life to the fullest. The picture above is one of him on a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. Caught some big fish, spent many days paddling and portaging with his best bud Nate.
I just wanted to mention something very important about our little buddy Jace. Please send many positive thoughts his way, as he has had an reaccurance of his cancer. He means the world to our family and is Nolan's best friend. www.caringbridge.org/ia/jacecarrico
