Wendy, I have never met you but I used to work for 3M Health Information Systems and met your sweet husband, Terry, on several occasions when he would work with our Sales Team on sales strategies.

I retired in May 2016, after 22 years with 3M and a total of 40 years in healthcare. Unfortunately, after returning from a glorious 3 week trip to Europe to celebrate my retirement, in a lot of back pain, I learned that I had a T4 fracture which was caused by Multiple Myeloma. I went through back surgery, chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant in 2016/2017 @ Baptist Hospital Lexington, CHI St Joseph & University of Kentucky’s Markey Cancer Center respectively. Thankfully, I have been in remission and have not been on maintenance chemo since August 2020 (during Covid). 🙏🙏🙏

I have been very blessed as well and am ever so thankful that I have been able to really enjoy retirement now. Would you mind sharing the name of the chemo drug you took that resulted in your temporary loss of vision? I have my 3 month followup appointment with my Oncologist on Weds and would like to ask her if she was aware of that side effect.

Please tell Terry hello for me. I pray that you continue to remain in remission and are able to enjoy spending quality time traveling more as well as spending time with your family and grandchildren. May God bless you! 💙🙏💙
