I had the pleasure of meeting Tricia at her birthday party a couple of years ago. She welcomed me, not as a stranger. but as a friend. And, I remember her generous smile .

My sense is that if Carli had been with Tricia on that journey, where Tricia wrote that 'I figured I was about 400 to 600 feet away from the pope,' Carli would have gotten closer than 100 feet. Carli was like that.
