Hello family & friends,
I want to give a quick update on two topics:
- Tracie has begun a short regimen of radiation therapy for her right hip, primarily for pain abatement. You might recall that her left hip was similarly treated with great success. Potential side effects are primarily fatigue, nausea, irritated skin, and a compromised immune system. Effects tend to build, so while she had her first session today, she feels pretty good, but we expect her symptoms to worsen over the next couple of weeks. At the end of June or perhaps early July, she will begin her chemotherapy.
- We have indeed moved! I'm sitting at my desk in our new house as I type this, and it's wonderful to be in the house that we've envisioned for so many years! If you need the address, email or text either of us.
