Newest Update

Journal entry by Fran Gallo

And so we continue to put one foot in front of the other.  All of us are painfully trying to figure out what it's like to live in a world without Toni.  How do we remember her? How are we blessed by her memory? How do we let her magic take root inside of us? How are we better humans for having loved her?

This will be my last Caring Bridge Post.  I will continue writing in my WordPress blog. Some of you already subscribe to my blog, but if you don't and would like to subscribe, it's pretty easy.  I hope you will subscribe so we can keep in touch! If you write comments, I always read them and reply.

TOPICS to come your way: I plan to blog tonight on Tulips for Toni.  I write on many topics, but you can be sure there will be many blog posts inspired by Toni.  For example, I am asking those who knew Toni, to write a story about Toni and email it to me (fran@frangallo.com). I will put the stories together and we will remember Toni with our stories.  (Lena A, Maria C, Laurie and Jan -sisters- and anyone else reading this who has a great story or memory of a time you spent with Toni, I am all ears and waiting for you to send me your story).  Also those of you who never met Toni, but were inspired by her, I welcome your words on how Toni touched you! Your stories and inspiring testimonies will go into a blog post called Toni Tales and I will put a book together, too. Further down the road,  another blog post will have information about the Toni-Love Foundation, which I hope to set up in a few months time (reprinted cards of Toni's art will be available through the foundation). And a subscriber to my blog, you might just learn a little more about yoga, too!  And tomorrow, I will blog more about the three yoga sessions I did at Green Lake Park (one yesterday, one today, and one tomorrow) in Toni's honor.  Such a healing time for the yoga community and me as we grieve and wrap our minds around this enormous loss.

SLIDE SHOW

I put this slide show together for Toni.  Turn up your speakers and sit back and watch a beautiful life unfold before your very eyes.

1) Another mass will be said for Toni in Grotte, Sicily on Wednesday, April 21.  This is the banner that has been placed in the town square notifying everyone about the mass.  Thank you to my Uncle Charlie and cousin Vincenzo Licata for setting up this mass.

2) Yoga in the Park (Seattle) sessions, dedicated to Toni. I am overwhelmed by how many lives Toni touched! We had sessions yesterday, today, and there is one tomorrow on Sunday morning at 10am at Green Lake Park (near the Bathhouse Theater).

I miss Toni. She occupied such a big place in this world. How on earth do we move forward without her?

Love,

Fran
