Welcome to Terri’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportFor those of you who don't already know, Terri passed away last Saturday at 7 am. I have been meaning to provide a journal entry earlier, but have been busy with her arrangements, obituary, etc. She was in hospice almost 10 months, which gave us time that I thought we would not have. It takes away some of the sting of her death, but I still am devastated at her passing. We were able to laugh a little more, love each other a little more and grow our relationship while she was in hospice. She was strong throughout her hospice time, as I am sure those of you who visited her can attest.
I want to thank all those who were able to visit, in this horrible time of COVID. Terri had over 200 visitors, a testament to her and to her friendships with all of you. We have the most awesome neighbors, who stepped to help us, giving me a respite at times to run errands, check on our lake cabin and walk crazy Cuthbert. I am forever indebted to them!
An obituary will run in the Sunday, December 19th Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Lincoln Journal Star. I am tentatively planning Terri's Lalapalooza-Narcifest for the last Saturday in January or first Saturday in February. This is all tentative at this time, as I need to try to get an understanding, as all of us need to, on the newest COVID variant. I don't want the event to be a super-spreader of this horrible virus. I will be asking for a headcount on FB or Evite, and contacting those who may not be on FB. We will also stream the event, so out-of-towners and those who want to participate remotely.
Thanks again for all the help, support and love you have given our family and Terri. I know she touched so many people, be it as a teacher, a friend or neighbor. Her spirit lives on in Ross and Jack and I take solace in them. Please keep us in your thoughts, and know that I value all Terri's friends as mine.
