Hi, Stephen, so glad to read that you also appreciate just seeing that we read, cause that is usually the case with me. Unlike many with time on their hands, I am now more rushed than ever, with Enbridge doing a ton of preparatory work with out of state contractors in the midst of a pandemic, and then I am starting a big garden. The latter is very satisfying of course, but I get antsy wondering how will i get it all done. Garden report: I now how 8 flats of seedlings under lights, and 5 of them have at least some sprouts! So tiny they are and yet so mighty! I have: tomatoes, peppers, egplants, kale, cabbages, onions, leeks, and some flowers. One climbing flower takes 30 days to germinate!! Darn, it has gotten cloudy, I was hoping to work in the glorious sunshine! So glad to hear how well they are taking care of you. Love, Phyllis

Hi Stephen, your beautiful connections with the people there are such an example of how I believe we are called to live - seeking the light in others, reaching across difference with curiosity and the desire to learn, and a faith in the goodness of all, and in our fundamental equality and kinship. It reminds me of the joy I feel in coming to know the stories and experiences of others when I travel, and it is a reminder to me that we can be in that same mind wherever we are - that all of life is a journey, and that we are constantly being offered gifts if only our eyes and hearts are open to seeing them. Thank you for being a pattern, an example, "...in all countries, places, islands, nations... answering that of God in everyone"

Hi Stephen, I've been following your posts and am thrilled to see your wit and humanity and cleverness shine through. I especially loved your post a few ones back, and this one about Grace - about taking time to get to know your caregivers. It brings you joy and is a gift to them as well. And it's a reminder to me of how important it is to reach out and connect with family and friends, especially now. Enjoy your special moments with friends and outside in the fresh air when you can. Margaret

Indeed everyone has a story and I am getting pleasure out of following yours in these isolated times, Steve. It is privilege to be on your Caring Bridge and feel your upbeat way of dealing with life's vagaries. Have a good weekend with family and know your Seattle family is with you too. Cheers, Andrea R.

We’ve been reading through Mark 14 and 15 over the last days and I feel present to the transformations that come through our pain and suffering. And how much we wish we could fast forward through those times! I am holding your journey in my heart and loving that you are finding G/grace everywhere!

You’re relieving to the nurse so personally reminds me of why the women at Valley State loved you. You do have a gift with connecting.

May the blessing of being a shining part of a loving whole buoy you through this process Stephen. You are family to me and I am watching your experience with fond attention.
Judy Brow has tested positive for the Corona virus. She is not super ill yet, however, as a frail elder, I think she is not likely to make it. Send a stray prayer her way. Love and light to you.
