Welcome to Shannon’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportIt’s been 4 years since my breast cancer dx. I became a member of a club I did not want to join. No one ever wants to join. But I have met people of incredible faith, strength, and hope.
The anxiety has very slowly faded into the background. It’s still there, some days more than others.
For every reason, I have to focus on the moment. If I dwell on the past, the anxiety and fear creep back in. I am a childhood cancer survivor, a recent breast cancer survivor, and I was diagnosed with MS in January of 2021. Sometimes I live like I’m waiting for the next thing…
Most of the time, I am able to breathe my way back to the moment I am in.
I am so blessed to have been carried through this by your prayers. I feel those prayers like little hugs.
Things are good. Hope heals.
In His grip,
Shannon
