I must say that my heart aches for you as I read this post. I saw how hard you tried over and over again to have a good relationship with your dad and it just seems like he could never really have one with you or anyone else except his mother. I know how badly you wanted to have a good relationship with him and I’d give anything to be able to turn back time and provide that for you. I just want you to focus on and remember that you tried so many times in so many ways to have that relationship repaired and it takes two people to make that happen. He just wasn’t capable.
