Ma is home- they cut her loose this afternoon. She has some antibiotics and when she finishes those and is feeling back to her old self we will get her immunotherapy rescheduled(it was supposed to be today) and keep marching on. 

What we learned here is we now know to ask for a chest X-ray when mom doesn’t feel good. This way we can get the antibiotics and skip the hospital stay. This is the second time in 6 weeks with pneumonia (this time with a little side of fluid in the lungs) so either it didn’t clear the first time or you know ma likes a good respiratory illness and will  get pneumonia more often now…

We will ask at her next doctor appointment if we should just expect this as a new normal or what? Also we know we want another set of images next week to see how the lung looks and if the drugs are doing their job. And last we are waiting for labs to see if the fluid they pulled out of that lung is anything we should be concerned with

Things to look forward too. But we won’t do any updates unless it’s something real exciting.

So that’s what we know….back to the regular program just in time for the holiday weekend. Don’t worry mom found another set of eyes to watch her for me…because you know we really needed a second dog in the house.🤣
