Hey friends, 

This update is tough. Sam’s condition has declined since the last update. The cancer has kept growing even with the use of the Optune device, so he isn’t using it anymore. He has been having more frequent seizures and other increasing symptoms. His doctors said there wouldn’t be any benefit to more radiation or surgery. He is starting a clinical trial next week and some medication to help with his symptoms. But in all transparency, we have exhausted the available treatment options. While this clinical trial could have some potential of extending his life, it is slim and we are reaching the end. 

We continue to be grateful for every second we have with Sam, as we always have been since we almost lost him five years ago. His strength, patience, perseverance, and heart inspire us every day.
