We met with the Epileptologist regarding Sam's seizure like activity. The physician would like to keep him on seizure medication over the next couple of years to make sure he does not have additional seizures. They are slowly switching his medication to find something that does not make him as tired and agitated.
Sam is doing well, but things will just take time for him to have enough energy to get back to his normal life. He is eager to get back to work and his regular activities. He does not want me to keep posting everything that happens to him any longer. Everyone knows how much Sam loves social media!
We are so thankful for everything that everyone has done to help us through these past months. Our friends, family and community were all there for us, and we could not have made it through this without your support!
As many of you know, I have worked at the Med Center for over 20 years. I never thought that it would be one of my family members in the hospital for a tragic event. I am so thankful that we came to the Med Center and were able to have this wonderful Neurosurgery team save Sam's life. Sam asked me if his injury was not really that bad, or if the physician was really that good. I told him that the physician was really that good. It is truly a miracle!
Thank you again for all of your support and prayers! Please keep us in your thoughts as Sam continues to recover.
