My father is a 16-year melanoma survivor. It was found on his cheek, then surgery and radiation affected a great bit of his upper cheek and jaw. But then he was approved for Hyperbaric oxygen therapy - a gift from the Lord. It was proven that he grew new blood vessels in his gums and jaw (and no doubt elsewhere!!) - necessary for him before a tooth could be extracted following the radiation treatments. There isn't much disfigurement at all - although today he still doesn't grow a beard on that side of his face!

My father is not yet born-again, but we talk about it quite regularly. I'm grateful for your ministry as it has aided me in my confidence and competency to share the assured hope that we have in Christ who has overcome the darkness.

Praying for you and yours!
Susan

Robert and Nancy, praying for you both as you walk this path. So good to really KNOW that those who hope in the Lord will "walk and not faint"!

God is ruling over this coronavirus and He is in charge of this melanoma as well. What a comfort!
I love you both and listen often to Revive Our Hearts.

Dear Robert and Nancy,
My heart goes out to you both, as I am a cancer survivor and a retired physician. When I first learned my diagnosis 16 years ago, my go to verse was 1 Thes 5:18 "in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." What a great opportunity to thank God and reflect His glory when you show the world they can trust Him to write their story!

"My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a Rock, where no enemy can reach me." Ps 62:7

Dear Robert and Nancy,

We join our hearts in the chorus of many who are loving you and praying for you at this time, so grateful for how God will draw you to Himself and cause you to further glorify His Holy Name!

May you both be rooted and grounded in His Love and mercy.

Robert and Nancy, I pray this scripture will encourage the two of you.
2 Thessalonians:3[16] Now, may the Lord himself, the Lord of peace, pour into you his peace in every circumstance and in every possible way. The Lord’s tangible presence be with you all.
I am praying that the Lord's glory will be manifested in your journey as well as his goodness and mercy.
