Praying for you both and asking God to provide protection, comfort and peace as only He can. Praying surgery can happen & the virus does not hinder it. There's just no better prayer than the one found in Eph 3- "I kneel before the Father from whom every family in heaven & on earth is named. I pray that he may grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit & that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted & firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length, width, height & depth of God's love, & to know Christ's love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do above & beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us- to him be glory in the church & in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever & ever. Amen." Grateful for you!

This morning before reading this post, the Lord laid this song on my heart. And I know how you both find comfort in singing unto the Lord. I also know you enjoy reading the meaning behind songs, and encourage you to do so. May God bless and give you new strength through His grace as you consider these precious words.

“His eye is on the sparrow”

Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion, my constant friend is He;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

“Let not your heart be troubled”, His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

Our prayers are with you,,
Love,
Rebecca Ellerman and family

Robert and Nancy,
So glad you are using this tool to keep us up to date with details of the journey ahead for you. We found Caring Bridge to be a great encouragement five years ago when Mary Ann had her brain tumor. You are both loved by so many people. There will be no shortage of prayer for you both in the coming days. May God keep your hearts at peace when fear and worry and anxiety try to take over. Isaiah 26:3

Robert and Nancy ~ our thoughts and prayers attend you as you watch and wait for the surgery, and then healing. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him. Love you much, R & E “My soul waits in hope for the Lord; He is my help and my shield. My heart rejoices in Him, because I trust in His holy name. Let Your unfailing love be upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You. Psalm 33:20-22

"I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do;
I will not forsake them."
