Hello everyone and happy new year. We have been very busy trying to adjust to this new way of life. It has been almost 9 months since Ann Marie was born and our lives changed in a major way. Rebecca has continued to do therapy (ST, OT, PT) everyday. We have reduced the number of therapy office visits from 5 days a week to 2 days a week and increased our at home therapy. We had to change insurance this year forcing us to have to change therapists as well. This has been a difficult change but also good having new therapist with a fresh perspective. Rebecca continues to have difficulties mainly with speech and right arm mobility. We see improvements but at a very slow pace. We continue to get full time help from Rebecca and Kyle's parents. They switch every two weeks and we could not have made it this far without them. Ann Marie is doing great, she enjoys eating real food and feeding herself. She has become very mobile crawling around and pulling up. We have been busy these past few months with Rebecca's sister's wedding, Ann Marie's baptism and traveling to Montana as our first solo trip as a family. This journey to recovery is going to last longer than we had hoped or thought. We appreciate all the love, kind words and prayers throughout this journey. We are ready to get back to a more normal life. With that in mind, this will be our last post to Caring Bridge and we can not thank you all enough for following along and helping us along the way. Every kind word, prayer, gift and meal really helped us to continue each day.
God Bless You All.
Kyle, Rebecca & Ann Marie Muncie
