Although I have never met you, I am one of many who have prayed for you and your family as you walked a path that few of us have encountered. I am in awe that you are only 24 years of age because you write with such clarity. Your message shines light on resilience and gratitude and to me it also encouraged the readers to reflect on the life we lead. Michael, you don’t know me, but I’ve followed your experience on Caring Bridge, since the explosion. Your testimony today is one of the best I’ve ever read! King David said in Psalm 139:14: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” I’ve thought about that in healing. That’s how God made you, too. Thanks for sharing your story!

Michael, you brought tears to my eyes. Wonderfully said. You have experienced pain that most of us can't imagine. I am so happy to hear that you are doing well. You met my daughter and her boyfriend at Regions. He was hurt in a work accident and spent 100 days at Regions. What an incredible place it is! The care the patients receive is wonderful. Keep positive, keep pushing yourself. Keeping you in my prayers. God is good!
