Michael, I love your "patient impatience" as well as your "impatient patience". You are teaching all of us so many things. Thanks to you and Jenny for your continued "amazingness". Sending strength and energy. Be kind to yourself.

Michael and Jenny, I agree with Susan Geller's comment below: your words are an authentic expression of what has meaning and heart for you. I appreciate you continuing to be respectful and inclusive of the multitude of life perspectives that your many friends have. As a non-religious, deeply spiritual person, if there is a higher power, my higher power is an expression of truth-love-spirit-kindness-generosity, an omnipresence of love, grace and compassion. From that place, I agree to hold space for you two to explore what has depth, meaning and heart, in this most intimate exploration of body-mind-soul-spirit exploration.

To play amidst, or in spite of, the uncertainties is a beautiful sentiment. And that song was a great expression of joy. I appreciate your sharing.

Thank you for being so open about your love and all your experiences, no matter what words you use. I appreciate your integrity. If I could figure out how to do it on my computer I would add billion hearts to this post. Love, Jeanne

A thought about connecting or not around religious words -- the connection is not about the words and whether or not your so many friends who read this feel a personal connection to the words. The connection is around something that authentically speaks to you and supports you. Though we may not have the same words or frames or beliefs that do that for us, what is shared is that there is something true and meaningful. When I read about how your faith guides and supports you, I think about what guides and supports me. So, in short, please don't shy away from what is true for you. I love every word you write. I wish you moments of play, with deer, with higher power, with all of life and know that the moments connect to others even when there are no words.
