Reading your powerful, beautiful words with mixed emotions. Overwhelmed by the depth of love you and Jenny share, along with your beautiful Isaiah and Grace. Visualizing the two of you, as a team, capturing the meaning, purpose and essence of this moment in your journey leaves me breathless and tearful. I am at once so happy that you have lived such an unimaginably intentional love and life together and heartbroken at the thought of what might be...one day. I have always believed the incredible strength, purpose, love and divine connection within you, Michael is what is keeping you here, with us, with Jenny, your kiddos, family and friends. Your dream with MLK, long ago, has stuck with me. I believe you are meant to stay, live longer with so much work yet to be done. I love you both so much. Kirsten

Love and hugs to you both, Jenny and Michael! What a pleasure it is to know you both, and be inspired by your faithfulness to each other and to that of God you find everywhere.

The image of you playing with the deer makes me smile!

We''re giving thanks for sleepy cancer cells, for your hope-filled perseverance, for Jenny's devotion and stamina, the Source of all life (aka Higher Power), and for Love that accompanies you always. (Indigenous people believe deer medicine is love medicine.) You're in our prayers every morning.

Whenever you post, Jeff and I make a habit to read it together after dinner. The love and partnership that you two share is inspiring to us. We're glad the brain cancer is acting sleepy and appreciate your language on the higher power and what it means to you. Your storytelling is still so strong and resonates on many levels with us. Sending you both lots of love. <3, Jeff and Peter

Holding you all as you navigate in love, loss, curiosity, frustration....and thinking of the last lines of a William Stafford poem I just memorized. "Certain twisted monsters always bar the path, but that's when you get going best -- glad to be lost. Learning how real it is here on earth again and again."

It doesn't seem possible it's been 4 years since your diagnosis. I'm thankful that this is a marathon, and that you're traveling with an endurance athlete.
