Dear Mike, Sarah & Rachel: I’m so sorry for your incredible loss. I had faith that Marty would beat this, and was praying for that outcome every day. It so difficult to believe he was ever confronted with this horrible disease as he always looked so healthy! I am relieved to hear he did not suffer and peacefully was called home in his sleep. I will continue prayers for him and your family. May the happy memories you all shared guide you through this difficult time. May his memory be eternal! With Love, Chris (an old ATD friend of Marty’s).

Dear Mike, Sarah and Rachel: Sadly, Michael and I will not be able to attend as we are finally able to make our long awaited trip to our place in Florida. Where we would also like to be is attending Marty's final send off and then celebrating his amazing life with you! We will be there in spirit that day and continue to send you our deepest sympathy, love and strength during this sad time! Love, Nadine and Michael

I first met Marty at the time of his BarMitzvoah. It was my first visit to Gloversville with my life partner Jesse Goldbaum. Jes and I loved Marty (Who could not?) Both Jesse(we were together for 50 years) and Marty were sweet, strong, dependable and full of life and fun. I'm not as religious as I was in my younger years, but I do believe in Heaven and would not be surprised if Jes and Marty are reunited and thinking of us as I type this note.
Mike, I will send you a note via mail soon......I DO know and understand ALL you are experiencing at this time. I know that you will have many happy memories of your life with Marty.............Perhaps, you, as well as I, believe that we will be reunited with those we love sometime in the future and we will have our memories to help us until then. Ahave & Shalom, Bob
