Hello friends,

Let me start with something funny because there isn’t much to laugh about lately.  When I go to my daily appointment for lab and assessment they asked if I want a chair or bed. I told them chair. You get a huge chair to help the nurses not be leaning over. My sister sent this picture to my siblings saying. Libby has yet another bump in the road she is shrinking since transplant. Her donor must have been a wee little man from Ireland. We were laughing so hard. My husband is hopeful I will start drinking Guinness. 

My day consists of labs and doc/nurse assessment. If I need any transfusions I get them. Sometimes I need to come back for infusions. One of my meds eats up magnesium so I have had that replaced 3 days in a row. My blood pressure has been dropping when I stand up. I have had IV fluids twice. My platelets were 7 had a transfusion yesterday. 

I feel pretty good except for feeling like I have a flamethrower aimed at my throat/esophagus. This is all expected when you have no white count. I can’t talk due to pain and now today throw in laryngitis. Thor is sure missing out on all this silence. The doc said the chemo kills your entire GI system cells starting at your mouth and ending at your rear end. There are so many fun jokes to be made. I am just not in a joking mood since I am living in poopsami and turdapolis. These symptoms will get better as my donor white cells start getting made. Hopefully in 4-7 days.
