Joanie enjoyed her first Mother’s Day- although her energy is still low she enjoyed fresh air and family time ♥️ Yesterday she met with Dr. Shah and he is so impressed with how her numbers keep increasing and how her body is handling the transplant. Getting to day 30 will still be a big milestone (on May 25)! She also still needs 3 more rounds of maintenance chemo in the next month and then she will have a PET scan in June to make sure no cancer has returned.
