Lana and I grew up together -- just down the street from one another. We spent many nights overnight at her house or mine --- we laughed and cried and played and had a wonderful childhood together. I met my hubby when both of us were in her wedding. Although many miles have always separated us, we have always stayed in touch and shared our stories about our kids and grand kids. It breaks my heart to know that we will no longer be able to do that. I spoke to her on the phone just 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was as though we were just two old friends catching up with each other --- and we laughed and reminisced about our fun times. I will miss her and her laugh terribly as I know all her friends and family will. God bless you all at this difficult time. Much love.
