Hello everyone,
I want to start by thanking everyone for their continued support throughout this long journey. I also want to thank you for your patience in waiting for a post for so long. It’s been nice to be back home and be able to sleep in my own bed!
Since returning home, I have began walking more and trying to return to as much normal life as possible. I have began to hang out with friends, coach some of my speech students as they prepare for nationals and make many trips to the grocery store just to get out of the house. While the pain is definitely still there, there has been a significant decrease in the amount of pain in my chest and other parts of my body.
Over the next few weeks I will continue cardiac rehab 3x a week and try to stay as active as possible to ensure that I will be able to return to work in early July. Thanks to my mom, Coleen, this has been a relatively smooth transition and I am very grateful to have her staying with me while I recover.
Once again, thank you all for your support and don’t hesitate to reach out to chat or get together. I do have a lot of free time on my hands currently!😉
