Sign In to Show Your SupportHello on this beautiful May day…
I finished my 5 rounds of radiation on the lymph nodes under my left arm. It was easy-peasy as the medical team said it would be. My “quirky” little mindset called it “tanning sessions.” 💥
I feel good, just a little tired and a tender little armpit. Now, we wait for 6 weeks to let the zaps do their thing. I will have bloodwork and scans again around the first week in July. That will tell us if my cancer is behaving itself. It is treatable.. ..not curable. I just find ways to live with it. That’s all!
It’s full speed ahead with summer plans which include a family reunion of the Seykoras (Mom’s family), 50th college reunion in Duluth at College of St. Scholastica, a piano recital with Claire in Iowa and alone visits with John and Claire here on the farm in Minnesota. Looking forward to all of it.
Please remember me in your prayers. God has the perfect plan for me. I am going into my third year because of your love, care and kindness.🌹 It is a journey filled with unknowns but you have made it so much easier to navigate.
🌷Thank you.. many blessings back to you. I will write more in July✍️
St. Peregrine (patron saint of cancer patients) pray for us 🙏
Glowing on the prairie,
🦋 Kathy B, Dan and the A-Team
