Cue the tears! Ruby and Sadie have been dancing with Jessica at Keep Dancin’ for 4 years. Each year Jessica plans a Father/Daughter dance and a Mother/Daughter dance. I participated with the girls in the Mother/Daughter dance their first year of dance and they have always wanted Joe to do the Father/Daughter but due to his health he hasn’t been able to. Their first year of dance he was doing his clinical trial treatments and chemo, their second year he was preparing for his stem cell transplant, their third year he had relapsed and we weren’t sure what exactly was happening. This year he danced the Father/Daughter dance with Ruby and Sadie and this Mama couldn’t hold back the tears! The girls smiles should tell you how happy they were to dance with their dad on stage this year! We are so thankful for Joe’s remission and that he continues to gain strength each day!
