Dear friends and family,

After my last update, I truly thought it would be a while before I would update again.  But I can't not help but share happenings of the past month.  Basically, the purpose of this update is to brag on God!!!  By now, if you keep up with my updates, God bless you if you do😊.  You know I love Jesus.  Quite frankly, I want everyone to love Jesus and experience His transforming power, like I have, nothing better.

So, here's the back story, I'll try and keep it brief.  About a month ago, I experienced some left-hand tremors along with balance and strength issues that resulted in a couple falls (one, not so pretty).  This led to an unplanned trip to Rochester for an MRI.  The results of that MRI showed a brightly lit marble in my brain.  I have to admit after seeing over 23 years of scans of my brain, this was the most surprising to me...eek!

Turns out the marble is a cavernoma which is a cluster of blood vessels.  Thankfully, no immediate treatment/action was needed.  My oncologist said we will scan you every 5-6 weeks to monitor the marble (okay, he never called it a marble, just me).  If it doesn't shrink on its own, you will need surgery to remove it.  I really wanted to avoid another brain surgery if possible.  So, my solution...call on all my prayer warrior friends and let's pray this marble away.  I know you can all testify to the fact that I've already lost my marbles (my family can for sure), but this is one I really want to lose.

Leif and I were at Mayo today for my MRI.  I am incredibly grateful to report that my marble was not brightly lit today which is a very good thing!  I know without a shadow of a doubt God answered the many prayers prayed on my behalf, thank you to all of you that prayed and thank you Jesus!!  My doctor even admitted that it was very unusual to see a positive change like this and that he was really just hoping the marble would be stable.  We were both quick to let him know we asked for and had a lot of people praying.  

Please hear me, I know that not all prayers are answered how we would like.  However, I do know that God hears all our prayers, and His answers include yes, no, or not yet.  I have a couple prayers that keep being answered with "not yet", it's frustrating for sure, but I'm learning patience and learning to trust Him more!
