Before I sign off, I just wanted to send out one final message thanking you all. As we are working through her apartment, we are blown away by the mountain of hand drawn pictures, cards, and notes that many of you and your sweet children have sent her over the past year! She kept them all! What an incredible blessing you were to her and we cannot even begin to thank you for your encouragement and prayers over the last year. What a journey it has been. And even though this is not the ending that we wanted, we trust God and His almighty omnipotent plan for all of our lives. He has defeated sin and death and because of that, one day we will see our mother and father but more importantly will stand face to face with our Heavenly Father. Can I get an amen!! This is not the end. There are many tear as we mourn the loss of missed opportunities and think of fond memories but we are truly so grateful that she is not in pain and is in heaven worshipping Him.
We love you and cannot thank you enough for all the kind words, prayers, and ways you cared for our mom over the years.
Sincerely,
Amy, Emily, Annie, Josie, and John.
