It’s been a month since Denny died. As you may imagine, I’ve had good and bad days. There is a lot of paperwork and details to being a widow. I’ve learned way too much about irrigation systems and an overwhelming amount about probate. In any case, I’m grateful for my friends, community and neighbors for their constant support. Our friend, forever known as DFK, has been a rock for me. I believe Denny’s true last coherent reply, when asked who came to see him was, “Darryl Fucking Kenneth”.
Enough about me….what about my eye? Pain free and ready for occupancy. I’ll head over to have my piece of art created the week of June 9. It takes four days and I will see friends, have my car serviced and get my yearly CT to check for metastatic cancer. Does it matter? Denny’s was “clear” in August. But, I press on. Results given when received.
That is my report.
