Gwendolyn completed her cranioplasty procedure this morning and is recovering well. She's excited to be reunited with her missing bone after six months. We had a giggle when her neurosurgeon marked the left side of her head before getting started this morning - I suppose it's to make sure they operate in the right spot!

For now she's woozy and in pain. She'll be in the hospital for a couple of days for a CT scan and monitoring. I think she's earned a break from the kids and howling pets! 

For today we're going to let her rest and I'll give an all clear when she's up for friends to visit. We're grateful for all your well wishes!
