Sign In to Show Your SupportThank you everyone for your care and concern for Dad. He continues to feel better everyday. Last week, his appointment went well, but he was showing some fluid collecting around his new kidney and was experiencing some rejection. After adjusting his medication and getting daily doses of steroids, he is feeling stronger and his numbers are back on track.
Dad is taking a daily walk down through the fields and has also ventured out in public a few times (even after being told to stay home and stay safe). If you see him out and about, thank you for keeping 6' distance and wearing a mask when possible. He is vaccinated, but we want to be as safe as possible.
We start digging at the nursery next week and he is determined to be here, even if it is for short periods of time. Maybe you should include everyone at the nursery in your prayers next week. 😜 He was able to drive through the fields last night with me and make a long list of everything we need to accomplish this week in preparation. He hasn't lost his touch...or his bossiness!
Mom and Dad continue to get blessed with meals from their Meal Train and have absolutely loved it. They have been able to reconnect with people they haven't seen in awhile and enjoy some fabulous home cooked dishes. Thank you all again for caring for them during this journey!
Dad's donor had a great 3 week appointment last Monday; for that we are thankful. Prayers continue for Nancy, as she works toward a full recover, too.
Thank you all for your love and support!
