Daniel passed away last night from a collapsed lung.
Even in our grief, we instinctively reflect on the gifts he brought to us. We were all unquestionably touched by his kindness, his smile, and his ability to see beauty in everyone. He was the type of person to remember names and ask after your family with complete sincerity. Daniel was a devout Catholic and his life was the embodiment of his faith. He was fully at peace with the Lord when he was called to return, and it is easy to imagine the welcome he is now receiving- being greeted with love, laughter, and a never ending round of applause. He fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith. We offer our prayers and sincere condolences to his family, and our deepest thanks to his medical team who cared for him with unwavering compassion.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philipians 4:7)
