Thank you for praying for our trip today. Everything went smoothly. 

Daniel's renal ultrasound looked "beautiful:" his kidneys had very good blood flow, and there was no fluid retention. 

His KUB x ray though did not look good. It was basically the same as the two he had pre-surgery. Unfortunately, the Gavilyte bowel cleanse was not as effective this time as after his ER visit. There is significant stool blockage. 

Dr. King said she has been involved in MACE maintenance at Riley's since 1985, and this situation is not uncommon. There are a handful of options we can try.

We're supposed to start with Ducolax dissolved in warm water through a syringe in his MACE opening 15 min before his normal flush, as well as increasing Miralax from one capful to two. She wants me to call on Monday to let her know how the weekend went, and then she'll decide what to do next.

We already have Daniel's annual Spina Bifida clinic appointment scheduled for July 2, with another renal ultrasound, and she said that's exactly when she would want to see him again. 

Prayer requests are to unblock the current stool blockage as the first step, and then to find the best maintenance solution to keep from getting this blocked again as the second.
