My mom received a phone call from her surgeon today. He expressed that over the last week he has taken the time to speak to multiple different colleagues of his to get their take on the best approach for going back in to complete the whipple, and after much discussion, he has decided that it is going to be best to not have my mom do any more chemo prior to surgery, rather just recover from this last mini procedure and proceed with the full whipple (for real this time) on June 25th. So feel free to start those prayer chains and put good thoughts out into the universe for a smooth round two on June 25th!
