Friends,

Today we visited the oncologist for the results from the PET scan.   Everything in the scan was negative except for friendly inflamed lungs which are still a mystery.   He will remain on a maintenance dose of Prednisone until the appointment with UVA.

June 4 we will see Dr. Whiplewey a nation-wide expert in infectious disease at UVA.   He will be in charge of what options they can pursue to get a better idea of what is causing the inflammation in the lung.   

I am now on FMLA from my teaching job (I had 116 days in my sick bank) so I am blessed to be able to be here to help Clay regain his strength and help him get the protein he needs and to all his appointments.
