Dear friends and family,
We wanted to provide you all with an update on little Clara. She is now four months old, with one month adjusted age, and she is growing like a weed at 9 pounds and 20.5 inches. We are so grateful to be finally out of everything preemie, with the last thing being bottle nipples.
Clara's eye appointments are still consistently every two weeks, and we are happy to report that her eyes are slowly improving. While we're not out of the woods yet, we are hopeful for continued progress. She is also dealing with acid reflux, but we have a G.I. appointment scheduled in June to address this issue.
Over the past month, Clara's personality has really been shining through. She is starting to track objects and make eye contact, and she is slowly starting to tolerate baths (although she still doesn't enjoy the cleaning part!). Her favorite thing to do, of course, is eat - and she lets us know loud and clear when she's hungry!
