Journal
We are nearing the year anniversary of me entering the hospital unexpectedly due to medication toxicity and remaining there for several months. I came home on September 8th to continue recuperation at home and remain on this journey. Family and friends continue prayers, love and support, and for that I am so grateful. I am making mostly steady progress on improvement, and just have to take one day at a time. The prayers and support are working, as I no longer need my wheelchair or walker. I am increasing my strength and stamina, but I still have a long way to go, so I would appreciate continued prayers. The doctors are starting to investigate reconstruction surgery. We hope for that to happen, and if so, it will likely be during the summer or fall.
While this has been a year full of challenges, we feel so blessed in so many ways. You all have been amazing in your love and support, and we thank you. We pray that all of you had a blessed Easter, and that we all appreciate the price Jesus paid for us. He is a faithful and good God, and has been with us constantly through this journey. Love to each of you! Cathy Harrison
