Welcome to Brad’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportOn November 4th (Day 28) I had a bone marrow biopsy, primarily to see how my new cells were grafting. It takes a while to receive and review all the multitude of tests, but today we learned that my current immune system is 100% sustained by the cord blood and my new cells are building an immune system. I am on house arrest for the next couple of months until my new immune system is up and running. Other than fatigue, I feel pretty good. Trying to walk a couple of times a day and will start with a light workout in the next few weeks.
I appreciate each of you walking through this process with Tanner, Lisa and me. We couldn’t have done this without your love, support and well wishes. Ok, and banana bread, pumpkin bread, shortbread cookies, pasta, mac & cheese and five different kinds of chicken noodle soup that were all fantastic. You are the best friends and family that I could ask for and I consider myself blessed every day to have you in my life.
Love you all!
Brad
