I know Bethanne from COS and when I mentioned to my daughter that I still pray for her and wonder how she is doing, she was able to search her name and we came across this page. Dear Bethanne, my prayer for you has been and will be that you experience a peace that surpasses understanding in your suffering. I'm so glad that you have been able to meet your precious grandchildren. Thank you for the years that you taught my kids in Sunday school; I'm forever grateful. What a blessing that you have such a loving, devoted family by your side.

We enjoy reading how you both are doing. We think of you often and pray for you. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding. It is sweet to spend time with grandchildren and thankful you got that time with them. Thank you for being a Light for all of us. We know you allow Jesus to be your guide. That encourages us to run the race well! Much Love in our Savior. Scott and Tina Dubach
I am so slow to respond to your news of both mothers passing but feel awed at how steadfast you and your ever growing family are in the midst of ongoing blessings and trials. Your family is ever increasing with those rugged little boys being added. After having two daughters of my own and teaching junior high girls at church for many years, imagine my shock to teach little boys in a Good News Club for 9 years. They are so different than little girls. God was preparing me for 5 grandsons (2 granddaughters) years later. Ha. You an David have been on our Tuesday Morning Prayer list for 15 years so do know we lift you up Tuesday mornings with great joy and love. Linda
What an encouraging update! I continue to pray regularly for you both, and the Lord deserves all praise for how he sustains you, David, and all the caregivers. Bethanne… we’ve never met …(I’m a Penn CCC and staff alum from the 60s and I only met Dave once at a Cru event)… but your drive and perseverance are evidence of a deep and abiding walk with Christ. HE is alive in you!
May our Lord continue to strengthen and sustain you both!
Thank you for sharing such a detailed update on your family. My heart is full of gratitude for you and for Bethanne's commitment to live so well in trust of our Father with such a long suffering. Happy Birthday this week to Bethanne! I was sad to hear of Mrs. Beddow's passing, I remember her well. Love to you both, Kates
It was nice to read this update on your family and to hear how Bethanne and you are doing. We pray for God's continued grace in your lives and marvel at how the Lord enables you to walk with Him through this illness.
I love reading your updates, David, and I love that Bethanne is still living and thriving. Even though she may feel "locked out," she is still a vibrant and vital part of so many lives! Please give her a hug for me and tell her Happy Early Birthday! Much love, Bronwyn
I am do sorry to hear about Mrs. Beddow. My Mom and Mary were friends in Decatur. I remember sleepovers at Bethanne's house and her Mom being so sweet. Wedding and Babies are great news, as well. Give Bethanne a kiss for me. Jan
So thrilled that you got to personally welcome your second grandchild into the world! What a blessing Connor and Jason must be in your lives. And congratulations on the upcoming wedding for Caroline and Josh. So glad you are going to be able to have a personal ceremony in PA. That will mean so much to Bethanne! And I'm sorry she lost her mom this past summer. Losing a parent is always so difficult. We will continue to keep all of you in prayer!
