Hello friends,Just a quick update I took Ariel in to Urgent Care yesterday to make absolutely sure she didn't have a blood clot in her legs. She's been crying in pain for weeks about them hurting and nothing we've done seems to relieve it.We got in right away and thankfully got a great doctor. She was super kind and very thorough.

She ordered a ton of labs and an I.V.,well as per usual it took them 8 tries to get an I.V. in her.She also ordered her something for pain. They did an ultrasound and no blood clot. She said it could be a few other things and those were all ticked off the box,so we're left with it has to be a CRPS flare in her legs.We believe the CBG and CBD are keeping the inflammation down enough that she isn't getting lesions.

The nurses were delayed in giving her pain meds, but once they injected her with it within a minute or so her arm started getting red and she went into a GTC or Grand Mal and convulsed for several minutes.Later they gave her more and the same thing happened.I still didn't quite put two and two together until we got home and the doctor had given her some pills for pain and she broke out in hives all over and her face turned bright red,so yet another allergy.

The doctor and I discussed the fact that she gets zero treatment for what she has due to her seizures and the amount of pain meds her doctor gives her is very small and I can't really fault him for that. They have the doctors so regulated with this stuff.

I understand there is a serious opioid crisis, but for people like Ariel who have a horrendous condition with zero relief to get so little that it barely touches her pain is just cruel. She asked do you double up.I told her if we do then we run out.Which is part of the reason we do the CBD and CBG so she's not using all of her stuff.I have an appointment to speak with her doctor about this, but not holding my breath. Please pray for Ariel that she starts feeling better.

Hello friends,I hope you're all well. The last update was right before Easter.Ariel did her usual egg hunt the day before.Resurrection Day was beautiful,💐the only bummer was not being able to attend church due to the fact my hubby and Ariel were both having really bad breathing and coughing issues,so I stayed home and took care of them and watched a sermon online. We had a beautiful day with baskets for all and a yummy prime rib dinner. Then we all watched Jesus Of Nazareth one of our favorites.Thankfully both hubby and Ariel are doing better in those respects.

A few days after Easter Ariel got an ultrasound and we found out her DVT is finally gone! Praise God! A few days later she even got to go to her brother Nick's apartment and spent several hours there watching him build Lego sets he bought her and watching movies.🎬🍿He bought her like four sets and all sorts of treats for them to have. She made it about four hours and started hurting and had to come home.It was fun for her to go.She was a bit bummed she had to leave because of feeling so bad,but I told her baby steps. She's been ill and hurting for a very long time.It will take time to build up her endurance.

Shortly after she started having really bad leg pain.We saw the doctor who has treated her Long Covid symptoms and she ordered her to get another ultrasound to make sure she didn't have another DVT,because apparently you can still get clots even on Lovanox shots. The ultrasound came out clear thankfully.

She did have some wonky labs that showed she was very low in certain vitamins and the doctor said that could possibly be the cause. She also put her on a heart monitor since her Tachycardia has gotten worse since Covid, but she also has had a couple of blood clots,so not sure if that is causing more issues. She has it on right now.She has it for two weeks to track this.Hopefully we will get some answers with it.

I recently went to a Secret Sister reveal at church.⛪We exchange names and give each other little gifts🎁 for six months. It can be such an encouragement and is a lot of fun. After this Some of the gals and I decided to go to the movies 🍿 and to lunch. 🌮I thought Ariel would also enjoy it and so I picked her up and we went to the movies and saw Someone Like You.Definitely a chick flick, but oh so good.We all enjoyed it and went for lunch after.Ariel did so good and had a very nice time.☺️

The weather has been just beautiful here🌞 although I know rain is in the forecast.☔We've had some 70 degree days which is unheard of in April. So with that we've been taking full advantage of the nice weather. We've gone to several parks and recently the guys and I went to the fair. 🎡A very nice man at our church always gives me fair tickets and normally never get to go to the April one,due to the weather always being so bad,but this year is oh so different.Daniel and I went bright and early Friday morning and it was empty there no one but workers at first anyway.Nothing really even opened until an hour after we got there. While walking around we saw a production crew filming and just thought they must be making a commercial for the bbq stand ,but then Daniel jabbed me and was like "Mom,mom look it's Noah Cappe" If you're not familiar with him he does a show called Carnival Eats on The Food Network. We've watched that show for years and sometime's when going to fairs and carnivals I've tagged him in my posts and he's liked and responded to them.We called his name and he came over and started talking with us.He's very nice and because he's Canadian 🇨🇦 also plays hockey.🏒He plays the same position as Daniel.

We rode rides 🎢ate fair food 🍧and were just about to call it a day when we saw them filming people eating food. A gal came up to us and asked if we wanted to be on the newest episode of Carnival Eats.Daniel ended up doing it and the crew said he did a great job.So we will see when the newest season comes out if Daniel's take made the cut. That Sunday I ended up taking Michael as well.We couldn't go Saturday,so we listened to a sermon on audio and went to IHOP for pancakes. 🥞Since Michael has Celiac I wanted to make sure he could eat something. He did get some cotton candy at the fair and a lemonade. We were at the fair about two hours and it got really packed. We also ran into Noah again and said hi.I decided to take Michael to a surprise location and took him to Snoqualmie Falls a beautiful waterfall in the mountains. 🌄There are a lot of neat little shops there and a train 🚂 that goes through the mountains. He really enjoyed it.We weren't able to do the train ride this time, but hopefully another time.

Ariel was feeling a bit bummed, since she misses out on so much with her CRPS hurting her.She and I discussed starting to go for small walks, just to start building up her endurance,so yesterday I took her to a beautiful park with lots of flowers 🌸🌼🌹and we walked all over it.She did so good.We then went to a nature center. It was cute, but not much to it.I was going to take her to the beach, but she decided she wanted to go to the zoo. It's been years since she's been to her beloved zoo where we volunteered for 9 years, well the boys and I did she did for about 6 until her health got really bad.We went to the zoo for a couple of hours and she started hurting pretty bad.She loved it ! We saw the elephant🐘 and some of the shows with owls🦉 and another with seals 🦭and a few other exhibits. She did amazing and we ended up buying a membership so we can go again.

She's really looking forward to her birthday beach trip.🐙🦀🐳🐠Just 28 more days and only 19 until her birthday.🎂🥳 I have a special surprise for her planned before it.

Thank you all for your continued love, support & prayers for Ariel and our family.

💓
