Andy had his surgery today. They took the remaining two screws out of his pelvis and went into a joint to debride any infection that was there. The good news is that they didn’t find any infection where it showed on his MRI and they didn’t open up the previous area. As of now, he won’t need a second surgery. The perplexing part of it is where is it if there is any, and what is next?  The Ortho surgeon is going to hand the case off to the Infectious Disease team and we will go from there.
