We were neighbors of the Odlums in Weston, CT for too short of a time, but we became great friends, kids and parents. I will never forget when they were all packed and moving to Philadelphia and my daughters and I sat on our front steps and cried at their departure from our lives. We cannot imagine what this loss must feel like for everyone who knew Andrew and especially the Odlum family. Our heart aches for all of you. Much love, Jamie, Jessica & Jenna.

I met Andrew in high school and his spirit was one that would shine and warm the hearts of so many in school. His spirit was funny, gentle and beyond kind. I will always remember Andrew's smile. His smile was so amazing that once seen, he caused those around him to instantly smile as well. He was talented beyond imagination and I know that he is busy creating art and sharing his heart. I will always remember him.

Jim Coffin here, Karen's husband. We met Andrew when he was 4 years old and saw him and Pam, Michael, Katie and Emily frequently for the two years that we lived across the street and have kept in touch ever since. One of my earliest memories of Andrew was throwing him in the Odlum's swimming pool. His exuberant personality really came through as he went through the air into the water. He was very strong and I figured he would give Michael a run for his money at tennis some day. My next memory was of his wonderful very authentic smile that lit up everything and everyone around him all during his life. During our last visit with him about a two years ago, I remember the great artistic pride that he had in his creative work of creating beautiful blown glass Christmas ornaments.
I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow that Pam and Michael are going through but maybe a consolation is that Andrew lived his life fully and on his terms and that he made everyone around him so happy.

I have known Andrew since he was 4 years old. He would come over and play and watch movies like the Addams Family. The last time I saw him we were all huddled inside in the glass blowing hut. He took a lot of time explaining and demonstrating how to blow a glass Christmas tree ornament. It was beautiful. He was a vibrant, warm and very talented young man. He will be missed by all.

A friend to all without reservation. A bright, articulate and giving human being. A humor more creative than anyone you’ll ever have the opportunity to meet. I will miss his affable intellect. AO lives in our collective consciousness for the innumerable acts of kindness he bestowed on all. Never to be forgotten and alway in our our hearts, I was privileged to call him friend as I’m sure everyone who met him did the same. Walk in his footsteps and you’ll live a far better life.
