Newest Update

Journal entry by Doreen Summerlin

Hello everyone I know its been a few days that I updated to everyone. Fred is doing well. His appetite is back. I have to process all his food in a blender. We had our first check up back with the ent Drs today and they are happy with his healing. Coming home wad a bit scary because I had to do suctioning 2xs a day and had to male sure when he ate he didn't asperate which means food goes in his lungs. I was trained gor a few things just to bring him home. But today was a great visit at Drs. He no longer has staples in his head and thanks be to god his Trac is out. I still habe to blend his food due to the stitches he has in his mouth. Next Friday we go back to Rochester to see all 3 teams of Drs.( ent, ortho, and trauma team). We still have a long recovery. But we are getting married is 15 days everyone!!!! Fred and I can't wait to celebrate our wedding day with everyone. Thank you everyone for.the love and support
