I am all alone here in S. Florida having come here from Texas for a job and housing but was then fired before I even arrived. Must get out of situation and make some money - dropped the laptop a few days ago and the computer guy then installed, quite cheaply a new program but now the Scanner/printer, etc won't work and I have zero money to replace it. Need work badly, need so much else, but that would be a good start. I have a Ph.D but no one seems to know or care. I have done SO many things and am so capable but never seem to get ahead. Despite being clever and resourceful - recently I delivered Flowers on Feb 15 and and never even lived in the county before, in fact I had not been here in 7 years, and didn't know how to use the app which I pretended to like/use. Delivered 10 bouquets that day - which is pretty impressive. So I'm smart and capable, that and a dollar or two will get one a cup of coffee. But I need more than coffee - I need an income and a place to live, as I discovered last night that my "landlord" (actually I have a crappy room in exchange for taking his child to school), is hoping to get a new job and will move to the next county.
