Hello my name is Wendy and I'm gonna share my story with you all.  I am 41 years young, a pediatric nurse, auntie of 9 and lover of dogs!!!  I live a very full life with my boyfriend of 9 years and have many extended family members.  I am blessed to have an army of friends!  
Life threw me an unexpected curve ball on Monday the 13th.  I hadn't been feeling well and decided to make a trip to urgent care.  Fast forward, I was admitted that night, had a bone marrow  biopsy on  Wednesday the 15th and was later told I have AML which is a type of leukemia.  On Thursday the 16th I started my chemotherapy treatment.  I will be inpatient for a minimum of 21 days depending on how my body responds. Myself or my co author will be keeping you updated with my journey.  I love you all and appreciate all the prayers, love and support.
